PTSD and mental health: Treating the whole person

For those of us living in the Valley of the Sun, we learned recently about a Phoenix Police officer diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) who took his own life. Could this tragedy have been prevented?

At our on-site clinics, our licensed medical professionals take a holistic approach to the health and well-being of the employee, focusing on the whole person.

The on-site clinics provide no barriers to care and, because our staff are CareCorps© employees, there is no breach of confidentiality. Our clinically trained staff provides early detection and early intervention for physical and mental conditions, including PTSD and depression.

By seeking out and identifying health issues, we do all we can so that tragedy such as this recent event never escalates to the crisis level.

In addition to early detection of health issues, CareCorps© provides a firewall to the employer and confidentiality for the employee. Our medical professionals are trained to assess critical issues and refer to specialists in an effort to prevent a broad range of physical and mental health issues.
